Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Aletis ("Aletis", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit aletis.co, request a demo, or communicate with us. We are committed to handling personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Applicability of this Privacy Policy
This policy applies to personal data we process through our websites, demo requests, and direct communications such as email.
It does not apply to content and data that client organizations and their employees process inside the Aletis workspace. That data is governed by the agreement between Aletis and the client organization, which remains the controller of its own data.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Information you provide directly: when you request a demo we ask for your first and last name, business email address, company name, job title, country, organization type, and optionally a phone number, together with your marketing preference. When you email us, we receive your address and the content of your message.
- Information collected automatically: our EU-based hosting infrastructure keeps standard server and security logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) needed to operate and protect the service.
- This website sets no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to:
- Respond to demo requests and other inquiries.
- Provide, operate, and improve our services.
- Send marketing communications only if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Protect the security and integrity of our systems.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Who We Share Personal Data With
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the website and services (such as EU hosting in Germany and email delivery), bound by data processing agreements.
- Professional advisers, where necessary.
- Public authorities, where required by law.
- A successor organization in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, subject to this policy.
5. How We Keep Personal Data Secure
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk of processing, including encryption in transit, access controls, and EU-based infrastructure hosted in Germany. Client workspace content is kept private, versioned, and isolated per organization, and is never used to train models.
6. International Data Transfers
Personal data is stored on infrastructure located in Germany. If a transfer outside the European Economic Area is ever necessary, we rely on safeguards recognized by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, for example for the duration of our communication about a demo request, or as required by law. When no legitimate purpose remains, data is deleted.
8. Your Data Protection Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
9. Minors
Our websites and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors, and we delete such data promptly if we learn of it.
10. Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The effective date above always reflects the latest version, and significant changes will be communicated appropriately.
